Video on your mobile devices
-------------------------------
Portable video players allow for entertainment on the move,
but they all have very limited space to store movies. A simple
90-minute DivX movie at a resolution of 640x480 can be up to
700 MB in size. But your handheld device’s screen resolution
is much smaller; iPods play movies at 320x240, PSPs at
368x208, and many mobile phones at 352x288. The same
ile can be reduced to about 450 MB for a portable device, so
you can save loads of space by downscaling your video iles.
Utilities such as ImTOO MPEG Encoder (www.imtoo.com)
can do this for you quickly and easily. Simply select the iles
you want to convert, choose the target format, and start the
process. Transfer the inished iles to your handheld and enjoy
the movie without any loss in quality.
